A ‘difficult’ decision is a signal that you are operating on the wrong level of analysis. You are comparing options within a frame. The friction calls you to examine the frame itself. Ask: ‘What version of myself is each option designed for?’ and ‘Which of these future selves has the architecture I wish to inhabit?’ The decision then ceases to be a choice between A and B, and becomes a commitment to become C. Choose the becoming, not the option. The path will clarify.
